Nadége Patisserie Yonge
Toronto, Ontario

The new interior for Nadège Yonge builds upon the success of a restrained approach taken with its original Queen West location. Situated within a heritage building, the architectural interventions draw their cues from the existing space, bringing back to focus the original exposed brick wall and concrete floor through the grey cavernous treatment of the enclosing demising walls and ceiling. A single, pristine 25 foot long custom marble display runs the depth of the space while floating walnut shelves provide a warming contrast from the brick, marble and concrete. A syncopated walnut cabinet elevated behind the marble display and raw steel bent plate shelves hanging from the upper regions of the brick wall provide subtle reinforcement of the brand through packaging display and the introduction of accent brand colours.
